Finance Trainee

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Trainee to support our accounting and finance team in Kathmandu, assisting with daily financial operations and gaining exposure to international fintech services.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining accounting records and financial documentation.
• Support preparation of financial reports, vouchers, and reconciliations.
• Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Help prepare bank reconciliation statements and expense reports.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial transactions.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of VAT returns and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Support tax‑related documentation and regulatory compliance tasks.
• Assist during internal and external audits as required.
• Perform other finance and administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree completed in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in accounting or finance, or freshers are encouraged.
• Basic knowledge of NFRS, accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
