Full‑Time Video Editor & Motion Graphics Designer

About the role

Biiyond is hiring a full‑time, in‑house Video Editor / Motion Graphics Designer to work from its Kathmandu office. The role blends solid video‑editing fundamentals with basic‑to‑intermediate motion‑graphics work, turning raw footage and storyboards into polished, client‑ready videos for ads, explainers, social media, and brand storytelling.

Key responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into final videos, handling pacing, storytelling, voice‑over sync, music, SFX, b‑roll, overlays, titles, colour correction, basic grading and clean audio mixing.
• Create motion‑graphics elements such as lower thirds, transitions, titles and simple 2D animations using After Effects templates and assets.
• Export videos in required formats and aspect ratios (1080p/4K, Reels, Stories, YouTube).
• Maintain organized file structures, apply feedback promptly and keep progress updates in ClickUp.
• Experiment with AI‑assisted tools for upscaling or generative elements when appropriate (nice‑to‑have).

Required profile

• Strong sense of editing rhythm, storytelling and clean visual style.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple projects.
• Comfortable receiving and applying feedback without ego.
• Basic motion‑graphics capability, with a willingness to develop more advanced After Effects skills.
