Functional Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a Functional Consultant to understand business, accounting, and operational requirements and translate them into functional Odoo solutions. The role involves assisting with Odoo implementation, configuration, customization, testing, and providing ongoing support to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Understand business, accounting, and operational requirements and translate them into functional Odoo solutions.
• Assist with Odoo implementation, configuration, customization, testing, and ongoing support.
• Work closely with clients to map business processes to Odoo modules and workflows.
• Provide functional support, troubleshooting, and guidance to Odoo users.
• Use SQL for basic data analysis, reporting, troubleshooting, and data validation.
• Identify process improvements and optimize Odoo workflows based on business requirements.
• Coordinate and manage tasks across multiple Odoo projects simultaneously.
• Prepare and deliver client presentations, Odoo demonstrations, user training, and documentation.
• Collaborate with technical and functional teams to ensure successful Odoo implementation and project delivery.
• Support system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), issue resolution, and post‑implementation support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles, financial processes, and business operations.
• Hands‑on experience with Odoo ERP, particularly accounting and business‑related modules.
• Basic to good knowledge of SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English, Nepali, and Hindi.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects.
