Head of Accounting

About the role

The Head of Accounting will lead Dogma Group’s financial accounting function, ensuring accuracy, compliance and automation across the business. You will work closely with the CFO, CEO and cross‑functional teams to drive cash‑flow discipline, profitability analysis and financial risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all financial accounting operations, prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Manage cash‑flow forecasting, working capital, liquidity monitoring and financing arrangements such as factoring, credit lines and loans.
• Collaborate with project, account and department heads to guarantee accurate revenue recognition, timely cost booking and alignment of operational plans with financial performance.
• Identify manual finance processes for automation, drive initiatives using Business Central and improve internal controls and documentation.
• Lead internal and external audit processes, act as primary liaison with tax authorities (IRD, HMRC) and oversee tax filings, VAT compliance and regulatory reporting.
• Supervise group accounting and consolidation across entities, ensure consistent chart of accounts, manage intercompany transactions and transfer‑pricing compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA) preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in financial accounting or controllership, preferably with cross‑border operations.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills, with ability to simplify financial data for non‑financial stakeholders.
• High attention to detail, integrity and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with financial systems, especially Microsoft Business Central.
• In‑depth knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws and financial governance.
