HR Manager – Simara & Kaliya, Bara

About the role

The HR Manager will lead all HR functions for the Simara and Kaliya sites in Bara, while being based on‑site in Kathmandu. You will ensure HR practices align with company policies, local labor regulations and support the manufacturing operations. The role involves close collaboration with local teams and senior management to drive talent acquisition, employee relations and organizational development.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment, selection and onboarding for multiple locations.
• Oversee employee relations, performance management, grievance handling and disciplinary procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Nepal labour laws and internal HR policies.
• Coordinate training, development initiatives and conduct regular HR audits.
• Partner with management on workforce planning, retention strategies and culture‑building activities.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in HR management or senior HR roles, preferably in multi‑location or consulting environments.
• Strong expertise in recruitment, headhunting, executive and culture assessment, and business process improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; master’s degree or HR certification is a plus.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and conflict‑resolution abilities, with proven organizational and time‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HR Information Systems (HRIS).
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications.
