HR Officer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and organized HR Officer to oversee core human‑resources functions while ensuring smooth day‑to‑day office operations. The role combines recruitment, employee administration, policy compliance, and operational support in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment: sourcing, screening, interview coordination, selection support and onboarding.
• Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, attendance and leave data.
• Support implementation of HR policies and ensure compliance with Nepal’s labor regulations.
• Address employee concerns, promote positive relations, and assist with performance management and engagement initiatives.
• Conduct orientation sessions for new hires and uphold workplace discipline.
• Oversee daily office administration, coordinate with internal teams to improve efficiency, and manage supplies, vendors, and facilities.
• Prepare operational reports, maintain documentation, and support management with administrative improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in HR, recruitment, operations or administration.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment, attendance, leave management, HR policies and employee relations.
• Familiarity with Nepal’s labor laws and HR best practices is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership and problem‑solving abilities.
• Professional, organized, accountable and able to handle confidential information.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with HRMS tools (preferred).
