Human Resource Officer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Human Resource Officer to manage the full spectrum of HR activities, from recruitment to employee relations, ensuring compliance with Nepalese labour regulations and supporting a positive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interview coordination and offer processing.
• Coordinate onboarding and induction of new hires and maintain accurate employee records, contracts and HR documentation.
• Handle day‑to‑day employee relations, disciplinary matters and support performance review processes.
• Develop, review and implement HR policies in line with Nepalese labour laws and ensure consistent application across the organization.
• Monitor attendance, leave, overtime and collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
• Support workforce planning, identify process improvement opportunities and maintain HR systems and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Management, Business Administration or related field (Master’s degree advantageous).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in HR operations and general HR management.
• Good knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, payroll coordination, attendance and leave management.
• Basic understanding of Nepalese labour laws and statutory HR requirements.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with management and various departments.
