Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead HR operations for all H2O Cafe N Pub locations, ensuring consistent application of policies and a supportive workplace culture. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Kathmandu with regular visits to each branch.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee HR functions across eight restaurant branches, maintaining uniform standards.
• Drive end‑to‑end recruitment, onboarding, and talent acquisition to meet staffing needs.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in compliance with local labor laws.
• Design, coordinate, and deliver training and development programs for staff at all levels.
• Manage performance appraisal cycles, provide feedback, and set development goals.
• Handle employee relations issues, mediate conflicts, and promote a positive work environment.
• Ensure workplace safety and adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with branch managers on staffing plans, engagement activities, and operational support.
• Stay updated on Nepalese labor legislation and implement necessary policy changes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR management, preferably within hospitality, retail, or service sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and handle confidential information responsibly.
• Familiarity with basic computer applications and HR information systems.
• Demonstrated skills in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training coordination, and compliance.
