Human Resources Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the human resources function across multiple business units of a reputed group of companies, covering both corporate offices and manufacturing plants.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement group‑wide HR strategies, standardise policies and support workforce planning.
• Lead, mentor and allocate responsibilities for the existing HR team across all companies.
• Oversee end‑to‑end recruitment for corporate, manufacturing and operational roles.
• Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters and engagement initiatives.
• Manage performance appraisal systems, KPI tracking and succession planning.
• Identify training needs, coordinate internal and external learning programmes and evaluate their effectiveness.
• Maintain competitive compensation structures, coordinate payroll with Finance and ensure statutory compliance.
• Ensure smooth HR operations, accurate records and compliance with Nepalese labour laws.
• Provide HR analytics, dashboards and MIS reports to senior management.
• Make rapid, well‑informed decisions during crises and manage multiple priorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 5–6 years of overall HR experience, including 3–4 years in a managerial/leadership role.
• Proven experience in both corporate and manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of Nepalese labour laws and HR compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead an existing HR team and manage HR functions across multiple business units.
