Interior Design & Supervision for Five‑Star Hotel

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is responsible for developing, reviewing and supervising interior design and fit‑out works for a five‑star hotel project in Lalitpur, Nepal.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate interior design concepts, layouts, detailed drawings and material specifications for guestrooms, suites, lobbies, restaurants, corridors, meeting rooms and back‑of‑house areas.
• Review and integrate architectural, MEP, structural and specialist drawings to ensure constructability and design intent.
• Supervise day‑to‑day interior fit‑out activities, monitor contractors and subcontractors, and inspect workmanship, finishes, joinery, lighting and furniture installations.
• Maintain high‑quality standards, conduct regular site inspections, prepare inspection reports and manage punch‑list items through to final handover.
• Coordinate closely with architects, engineers, consultants, suppliers and hotel operations teams to resolve design and construction conflicts.
• Track progress against the project schedule, identify potential delays and implement corrective actions.
• Review and approve material samples, oversee material deliveries, and support procurement with technical evaluations.
