About the role
We are seeking a disciplined and analytical Inventory Officer who treats inventory as capital in physical form. The role focuses on maintaining optimal stock flow, eliminating pilferage, and supporting system‑driven replenishment to boost operational efficiency and profitability.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor daily stock levels and movements to avoid stock‑outs or overstocking.
- Maintain accurate physical versus system inventory records.
- Lead stock audits and control variances.
- Implement reorder‑level and buffer‑stock systems.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and sales teams.
- Reduce dead stock and improve inventory turnover ratio.
- Maintain FIFO discipline in all inventory handling.
- Generate weekly inventory performance reports.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years (24 months) of experience in inventory management.
- Strong analytical abilities and disciplined work approach.
- Ability to collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and sales functions.
