Junior Android Developer – Kotlin (2+ Years Experience)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Android Developer with at least two years of hands‑on experience in Kotlin to join our mobile development team in Lalitpur. You will collaborate with designers, backend engineers and other developers to deliver smooth, reliable and user‑friendly Android applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test and maintain Android applications using Kotlin.
• Build responsive, user‑friendly interfaces based on design specifications.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, handling JSON data with libraries such as Retrofit.
• Debug, troubleshoot and optimise apps for performance and stability.
• Follow modern Android development practices, coding standards and MVVM architecture.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
• Maintain technical documentation and use Git for version control.
• Stay up‑to‑date with Android SDK updates, libraries and best practices.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional experience developing Android apps with Kotlin.
• Good knowledge of Android SDK, XML layouts and UI/UX principles.
• Hands‑on experience with REST APIs, Retrofit and JSON handling.
• Understanding of Git workflows and version control.
• Familiarity with Android app lifecycle and MVVM architecture.
• Strong problem‑solving, debugging skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
