Junior Android Developer (Kotlin)

About the role

Fourteen Zones Technology PL is looking for a Junior Android Developer to join its Kathmandu office. You will work on modern, scalable mobile applications using Kotlin, following best‑practice Android architecture patterns.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications with Kotlin and Android Studio.
• Collaborate with senior developers and designers to implement UI components that follow Material Design guidelines.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and handle JSON data for backend communication.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high‑quality releases.
• Troubleshoot issues, optimise app performance, and contribute to documentation.
• Support continuous improvement of development processes and agile workflows.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in mobile application development on Android.
• Understanding of Android design principles and Material Design.
• Bachelor’s degree or ongoing studies in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Ability to work effectively in a team, communicate clearly, and adapt to a fast‑paced, product‑focused environment.
