Junior Cashier

About the role

The Junior Cashier will support the finance team by handling billing transactions, cash receipt and disbursement, and delivering professional customer service. This position requires strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail while maintaining reliable cash records.

Key responsibilities

• Process billing and payment transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Receive, count, verify and reconcile cash collections.
• Maintain daily cash records and prepare cash reports.
• Ensure proper cash handling in line with company procedures.
• Assist in cash management activities such as balancing cash drawers and maintaining transaction records.
• Provide prompt and professional customer service, addressing inquiries and directing customers to the appropriate department.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all financial transactions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Management, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in a customer support role, cashier position or related field; fresh graduates or interns are welcome.
• Basic understanding of cash handling, billing and customer service processes.
• Strong numerical aptitude and meticulous attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
