Junior Technical Assistant – Agriculture (Field)

About the role

The Junior Technical Assistant (JTA) will support the agricultural component of the Youth Empowerment for Transformation and Innovation (YETI) project. Working under the District Project Coordinator, the role involves extensive field work in Sindhuli district and contributes to empowering young women, girls and marginalized youth.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the District Project Coordinator in implementing the agricultural activities of the YETI project.
• Conduct field visits covering approximately 70 % of the time to project areas, supporting data collection and monitoring.
• Support the organization of training and capacity‑building sessions on sustainable agricultural practices and entrepreneurship for target youth groups.
• Prepare basic reports and documentation related to agricultural interventions and field observations.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months of relevant experience in agricultural or development projects.
• Graduates of A1 grade or equivalent.
• Willingness to work in field conditions and travel within the project area.
• Ability to follow instructions from the District Project Coordinator.
