Lab Technologist

About the role

National Path Labs and Research Center is looking for a detail‑oriented Lab Technologist to perform a wide range of diagnostic tests. The role ensures accurate, timely, and reliable results while maintaining strict quality, safety, and infection‑control standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform clinical laboratory tests according to established procedures.
• Isolate and identify specimens using advanced culture techniques.
• Conduct daily internal quality‑control runs, monitor Levey‑Jennings charts, and take corrective actions.
• Calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instruments.
• Monitor test turnaround times and document any complications.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, equipment maintenance records, and documentation.
• Adhere to safety, environmental, and infection‑control protocols.
• Assist with specimen collection and patient instruction when phlebotomists are unavailable.
• Participate in BL/ISO audits and recommend improvements to the quality system.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years (24 months) of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to testing accuracy.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and regulatory guidelines.
