LC & Banking Documentation Officer

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented LC & Banking Documentation Officer to manage Letter of Credit processing, banking documentation and related commercial activities. The role supports import/export operations, particularly within the food or FMCG sector.

Key responsibilities

• Handle and process Letter of Credit (LC) documentation and related banking procedures.
• Prepare, verify, and maintain banking and commercial documents accurately.
• Coordinate with banks for LC opening, amendments, document submission, and settlements.
• Review LC terms and conditions to ensure compliance with banking requirements.
• Collaborate with suppliers, customers, clearing agents and internal departments regarding documentation.
• Prepare and verify import/export documents such as invoices, packing lists and certificates.
• Follow up on LC discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain records of LC transactions, banking documents and correspondence.
• Monitor payment schedules, banking transactions and document submission deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Management, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in LC processing, banking documentation or import/export operations.
• Strong practical knowledge of Letter of Credit procedures and banking documentation.
• Experience in the food/FMCG industry is highly preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
