Lead Graphic Designer

About the role

Makura Creations is seeking a seasoned creative professional to lead the visual and motion design efforts for its brand. You will shape high‑impact visuals for social media, digital campaigns, and storytelling, while mentoring junior designers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and motion‑graphics direction across social media, websites, print, and digital campaigns.
• Conceptualize, storyboard, and produce animated content, video edits, and motion graphics for ads, reels, and brand videos.
• Maintain brand consistency, evolve guidelines, and ensure visual cohesion across all outputs.
• Collaborate with marketers, developers, and clients; guide and review junior designers’ work.
• Manage file organization, version control, and design workflows throughout projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Motion Design, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience with a strong portfolio showcasing static and motion design.
• Proven ability to lead projects end‑to‑end and mentor junior talent.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and time‑management skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.
• Experience with Canva and familiarity with Figma or other UI/UX tools.
• Knowledge of 2D/3D animation, sound design, and storyboard creation is a plus.
