Legal Officer - Corporate

About the role

We are seeking a competent and detail‑oriented Legal Officer with 3–5 years of corporate legal experience to manage our legal affairs, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide sound legal advice to management.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and manage contracts, agreements, MoUs, legal notices and other corporate documents.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and statutory requirements, including company registration, renewals and licensing.
• Provide legal advice on business operations, contractual obligations and potential risks, and support internal departments in resolving legal issues.
• Coordinate with external lawyers, government authorities and regulatory bodies, and assist in handling litigation, disputes and legal proceedings.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in a corporate legal role, preferably within a company or corporate organization.
• Strong knowledge of corporate, contract, labour law and regulatory compliance in Nepal.
• High attention to detail, professional integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Required skills

• Practical experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating legal agreements.
• Experience coordinating with government authorities, external counsel and regulatory bodies.
• Proficiency in MS Office and legal documentation management.
