About the role

The 12‑month Management Trainee program at A Reputed Mart offers recent Master’s graduates a fast‑track entry into retail finance and commercial leadership. You will rotate across key business domains within the grocery category, gaining hands‑on experience in data‑driven decision making and supplier partnership management.

Key responsibilities

• Rotate through core functions such as category planning, pricing, procurement and financial analysis.
• Analyse large data sets to identify trends, perform profit and cost‑control analysis, and support forecasting.
• Develop financial models and commercial forecasts to drive category growth.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimise supplier contracts and align them with business strategy.
• Prepare and present performance reports to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance (MBA/MBS) with a Bachelor’s in Finance.
• Minimum 80% score in mathematics‑related subjects at both Bachelor’s and Master’s levels.
• Maximum age of 32 years.
• Valid driving licence (vehicle preferred) and willingness to commit at least three years.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
