Mart Supervisor

About the role

The Mart Supervisor will lead daily operations at Suvam Wholesale Mart, ensuring smooth store functioning, excellent customer service, and achievement of sales targets. This full‑time position requires strong leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities to manage staff and inventory effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily mart operations to maintain efficiency.
• Lead, motivate, and monitor store staff performance.
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve complaints promptly.
• Track sales performance and work toward sales targets.
• Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, and rotation.
• Conduct regular stock audits and report discrepancies.
• Maintain proper merchandising, product displays, and store cleanliness.
• Prepare staff duty rosters, monitor attendance and punctuality.
• Handle cash management, billing issues, and end‑of‑day reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and safety standards.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and operational reports.
• Coordinate with suppliers and the warehouse to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Train, coach, and support staff to improve performance and service quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in retail or wholesale store supervision.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to motivate teams and manage performance.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Attention to detail for inventory and cash handling.
