About the role

The school seeks a dedicated Nepali Teacher for the middle‑school (lower secondary) level. The role involves delivering high‑quality Nepali language instruction that develops reading, writing, listening and speaking skills while fostering cultural appreciation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Nepali lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• Teach core language strands: reading comprehension, writing, grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening and literature.
• Develop students’ ability to interpret prose, poetry and age‑appropriate literary texts.
• Design and implement formative and summative assessments, monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a disciplined, positive classroom environment and use differentiated strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Integrate cultural context and real‑life examples into lessons.
• Prepare academic reports and participate in parent‑teacher meetings.
• Contribute to school literary events, language weeks and extracurricular activities.

Required profile

• Minimum of 24 months (2 years) of teaching experience in Nepali language at the middle‑school level.
• Ability to plan lessons, assess student performance and provide targeted interventions.
• Commitment to child safeguarding, discipline policies and student well‑being.
