About the role

The company is seeking an experienced, result‑oriented professional to lead and expand its Modern Trade business across organized retail channels in Kathmandu. You will be responsible for managing key accounts, driving sales growth, and ensuring strong market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with modern trade and organized retail accounts.
• Develop and execute account‑specific sales plans to meet distribution and revenue targets.
• Negotiate pricing, promotions, listings, displays, and commercial terms with retail partners.
• Monitor stock levels, merchandising standards, product visibility, and in‑store execution.
• Coordinate promotional campaigns, new product launches, and seasonal activities.
• Track sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
• Collaborate with distributors, sales, marketing, and supply‑chain teams.
• Identify new business opportunities to expand modern trade presence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in Modern Trade, Key Accounts, FMCG or Retail Sales.
• Strong understanding of modern trade operations, merchandising and promotional execution.
• Proven key account management and business development experience.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship‑management abilities.
• Analytical mindset with solid reporting skills.
