About the role

Suvidha Assurance is recruiting on behalf of a reputed eye hospital in Kathmandu for an Ophthalmic Assistant. The role involves delivering comprehensive eye screening and vision‑care services across community, school, and other outreach settings.

Key responsibilities

Conduct visual acuity, refraction, and ocular health examinations.
Identify refractive errors, cataract, and common eye conditions and refer patients appropriately.
Provide cataract post‑op follow‑up and spectacle dispensing.
Counsel patients and handle data management and documentation.

Required profile

PCL / Diploma in Ophthalmic Science with valid NHPC registration.
At least two years’ experience in eye screening, refraction, outreach, and community eye health programmes.
