Pre-Sales Engineer / Technical Support Officer

About the role

We are seeking a technically skilled and customer‑focused Pre‑Sales Engineer / Technical Support Officer to join our team in Kathmandu. The role bridges sales and engineering, providing expertise during client engagements, designing solutions, and delivering post‑sales technical assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements and propose suitable technical solutions.
• Support the sales team with pre‑sales technical input during meetings and presentations.
• Prepare technical proposals, specifications, solution designs and compliance documents.
• Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations and proof‑of‑concept sessions.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to develop customized solutions.
• Assist in preparing BOQs, technical documentation and project‑related reports.
• Provide technical support during installation, configuration, testing and commissioning of products.
• Troubleshoot basic hardware, networking and system‑related issues.
• Respond to customer technical queries and ensure timely resolution.
• Stay updated on new technologies, products and industry trends.
• Train customers and internal teams on products and solutions as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months of experience in pre‑sales engineering or technical support.
• Solid understanding of networking, communication systems and IT infrastructure.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑service orientation.
