About the role
The Procurement Manager is a full‑time, on‑site position in Kathmandu responsible for overseeing end‑to‑end procurement activities. The role involves supplier identification, RFQ management, contract negotiation and alignment of purchasing decisions with organisational goals.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate suppliers, manage requests for quotations, and negotiate contracts and pricing.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies, monitor inventory levels, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to meet requirements.
- Manage vendor relationships, ensure compliance with company policies and regulations, track procurement metrics and prepare analytical reports.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of procurement and supplier evaluation experience, including sourcing and vendor selection.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical abilities for cost analysis, demand forecasting and data‑driven decision making.
