Product Designer – Workforce Management Platform

About the role

Velorona is seeking a Product Designer to shape the core workforce management workflows of its back‑office SaaS platform. You will work closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to transform complex, rule‑heavy processes into simple, intuitive experiences that scale with the product.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end design strategy for core workforce management workflows, ensuring clarity, efficiency, and scalability.
• Identify design opportunities through user research, data analysis, and stakeholder conversations, influencing the product roadmap.
• Write comprehensive design briefs that align business goals, user needs, and engineering feasibility before any pixel is created.
• Partner with product managers and engineers as a thought partner, defining, prototyping, testing, and shipping high‑impact features from concept to launch.
• Maintain high design quality across systems thinking, interaction design, microcopy, and edge‑case handling.
• Develop and evolve scalable design patterns, component guidelines, and interaction standards to keep the UI cohesive as the product grows.
• Advocate for users and the business by deeply understanding pain points, regulatory constraints, and operational realities of staffing firms.

Required profile

• 2+ years of product design experience, preferably on SaaS platforms, enterprise tools, or other operationally complex B2B software.
• Proven ability to collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering and product teams as a strategic partner.
• Strong systems‑thinking mindset, comfortable designing interconnected workflows where changes ripple across the product.
