Programme Manager – Nepal (National Position)

About the role

The Programme Manager leads IsraAID’s emergency response to the August 2026 flash‑flood disaster in Nepal. This senior position holds overall operational, programmatic and partnership responsibility and represents IsraAID in‑country.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan and implement all programme components, ensuring alignment with workplans, budgets and technical standards.
• Lead rapid assessments, needs analyses and programme design, including amendments and extensions.
• Coordinate with implementing partners, chair field‑level coordination meetings and serve as primary liaison with national actors.
• Supervise and mentor the MHPSS Coordinator and Operations Officer, providing technical oversight and performance management.
• Oversee monitoring systems, data collection and donor reporting, ensuring disaggregation by sex, age and vulnerability.
• Manage programme budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure compliance with procurement and financial procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years humanitarian or international development experience, with at least 2 years in senior programme management.
• Proven experience managing protection‑sector programmes (CP, MHPSS, GBV) and multi‑partner projects.
• Experience with UN‑funded programmes, especially UNICEF, is a strong advantage.
• Strong budget management and financial reporting skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
