Project Coordinator – Humanitarian Project (Jumla)

About the role

Project Coordinator for the “Unified together Humanitarian assistance and Disaster Prepaidness in Nepal (UTHAN)” project, based in Jumla, Nepal. The role supports PACE Nepal’s mission to deliver humanitarian assistance, disaster risk reduction and community development activities in partnership with Caritas Germany and Caritas Nepal.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual progress reports, collecting evidence and ensuring activities align with program objectives.
• Document success stories, best practices and lessons learned and share them with team, community and relevant agencies.
• Track key program indicators, produce periodic digital and non‑digital reports, and ensure compliance with branding and reporting standards.
• Support community organizers in developing qualitative and quantitative reports and ensure timely submission to partners.
• Develop training and monitoring plans, and share project plans with Caritas Nepal and other stakeholders.
• Facilitate staff coordination to achieve project results, including identification of vulnerable households and budget mobilization.
• Ensure local government participation in beneficiary selection and activity implementation.
• Maintain financial and process documentation, conduct field visits, and manage community feedback mechanisms.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in project coordination within humanitarian or development programmes.
• Ability to work in Jumla and collaborate with local authorities, community members and partner organisations.
• Strong reporting and documentation skills.
