Project Logistics Executive

About the role

The Project Logistics Executive coordinates the movement of goods, materials, equipment and products across the supply chain, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with import and customs regulations. This role supports Procurement Category Buyers by managing logistics documentation, approvals and shipment tracking.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with procurement, suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs agents, banks and government authorities to ensure on‑time delivery.
• Prepare, process and follow up on purchase orders, letters of credit, telegraphic transfers, DAA and other import/logistics documents.
• Obtain internal and governmental approvals for import activities.
• Monitor shipment schedules, transit status and delivery, and update the procurement team on any delays.
• Review and maintain shipping and customs documents required for clearance.
• Facilitate customs clearance with agents and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of all logistics documents and generate regular status reports.
• Track logistics costs and support cost‑effective transportation solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field (Master’s degree a plus).
• 3–5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, procurement support or import/export operations.
• Experience in manufacturing or FMCG environments is highly preferred.
• Strong coordination, documentation, follow‑up and organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of import procedures and customs clearance processes.
• Familiarity with purchase order, letter of credit, telegraphic transfer and DAA documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments in a fast‑paced environment.
