Project Manager – Hydropower

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead hydropower projects in the Gandaki region. The role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle, from initiation through commissioning and hand‑over, ensuring timely and quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and control project budgets, resources and timelines.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and government authorities.
• Supervise construction activities, enforce quality standards and safety regulations.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, issues and delays.
• Monitor progress, prepare regular status reports and ensure contractual compliance.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams to achieve milestones.
• Manage testing, commissioning, final hand‑over and close‑out documentation.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of experience in hydropower project management.
• Background on both client and contractor sides.
• Proven track record of managing projects of 50+ MW capacity and delivering at least two projects from start to completion.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
