Quality Analyst

About the role

Join an award‑winning software development company in Kathmandu as a Quality Analyst. You will work within an Agile team, collaborating with Scrum leaders, engineers and product stakeholders to ensure high‑quality mobile and web applications.

Key responsibilities

• Review solution design documents and clarify project requirements.
• Execute sprint‑level, module‑level and project‑level tests, reporting results to the Project Manager, Engineering Manager and Tech Lead.
• Participate in daily stand‑ups, provide status updates and help manage risks.
• Support the Engineering Manager in tracking real‑time project progress.
• Collaborate with the Quality Manager to create a personalized professional development plan.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Management or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• Project management tools: JIRA, Trello, Asana.
• API testing tools: Postman, Rest Assured.
• SQL for database testing.
• Test case management: RTM, Zephyr Squad, X‑ray.
• Load and performance testing: LoadRunner, JMeter, Loader.io, Locust, Pytest.
• RDBMS: MySQL, Oracle; GraphQL Playground.
• Object‑oriented programming: Java, Python.
• Automation frameworks: Selenium, Appium, HTTP Client.
• Testing frameworks: TestNG, JUnit.
