Regional Health and WaSH Coordinator – Asia Hub

About the role

The Regional Health and WaSH Coordinator for the Asia Hub will oversee health and water, sanitation and hygiene (WaSH) programmes across India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Myanmar, ensuring high‑quality, context‑appropriate interventions that align with Tdh’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation of regional Health and WaSH strategies and support country teams with technical guidance.
• Monitor regional trends, programme performance and operational indicators.
• Contribute to fundraising, proposal development and donor engagement.
• Develop and strengthen partnerships with governments, donors, NGOs, academia and the private sector.
• Promote innovation, learning, research and cross‑country collaboration.
• Represent Tdh in regional forums, networks and advocacy initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Public Health, WaSH or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in health and/or WaSH programming with INGOs, NGOs, UN agencies or similar organisations in Asia.
• Proven experience in partnership development, resource mobilisation and proposal writing.
• Previous regional‑level advisory or coordination experience across multiple countries.
• Excellent written and verbal English; knowledge of local languages is a plus.
