About the role

Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology (TIO) in Kathmandu, Nepal is hiring for two positions: a Regulatory Affairs Officer to work in the Fred Hollows Intraocular Lens Laboratory, and an Ophthalmic Assistant for the Tilganga Community Eye Center in Jiri, Dolakha.

Key responsibilities

Regulatory Affairs Officer: ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, support clinical research and quality assurance activities.
Ophthalmic Assistant: provide ophthalmic support services at the community eye center, assist in patient care and eye examinations.

Required profile

Regulatory Affairs Officer: Bachelor’s degree in Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Research or Quality Assurance; preference for ophthalmic science or optometry background.
Ophthalmic Assistant: PCL or Diploma/Intermediate in Ophthalmology with at least three years’ relevant experience; registration with Nepal Health Professional Council.

Required skills

Regulatory knowledge and documentation skills.
Clinical ophthalmic procedures and patient care.
