Research Coordinator

About the role

The Research Coordinator & Grants Officer is a full‑time, on‑site position at Radhakundah Private Limited in Kathmandu. The role manages research projects across six thematic divisions and builds a pipeline of grants, fellowships and partnership funding.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate research projects across six thematic divisions, managing timelines, milestones and shared documentation.
• Support research design, prepare study protocols, organise data collection and steer projects through ethical and IRB review.
• Compile and analyse findings, draft reports, policy briefs and publication‑ready content.
• Scan national and international funders, maintain a live grants calendar and assess eligibility of calls.
• Draft concept notes, narratives, budgets, logframes and supporting documents for grant proposals.
• Build relationships with funders, embassies, foundations and university partners, and track awarded grants for reporting and compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, humanities, public policy or related field; master’s preferred.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary research projects and familiarity with IRB processes.
• Proven track record of identifying grant opportunities and contributing to funded proposals.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and documentation skills with attention to detail.
• Fluent English; Nepali or other regional languages an advantage.
