Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Intern

About the role

We are looking for a motivated SEO Intern to join our digital marketing team in Kathmandu. The intern will assist in improving website visibility and organic traffic through hands‑on SEO tasks and data analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research to identify high‑potential search terms.
• Assist with on‑page SEO implementation, including meta tags, headings, and content optimization.
• Support SEO audits to uncover technical and content issues.
• Monitor web analytics dashboards and track key performance indicators.
• Help with ethical link‑building outreach and backlink analysis.
• Prepare basic reports on SEO metrics for the team.
• Collaborate with content creators and developers to ensure SEO best practices are applied.

Required profile

• Pursuing or completed a degree/diploma in Computer Science, IT, Marketing or a related field.
• Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts and major search engines.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and documentation abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kathmandu and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
