Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will lead all accounting activities for Telecombix Nepal, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and effective cash management within a sales and distribution environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain complete accounting records in line with standards and company policies.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Oversee general ledger, month‑end and year‑end closing, journal entries and reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts receivable, collections and supplier payments, ensuring proper aging and follow‑up.
• Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns and ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
• Manage daily cash flow, bank reconciliations and treasury reporting.
• Supervise inventory valuation, stock movement accounting and support periodic stock counts.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants and regulatory authorities during audits.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience (24 months indicated).
• Experience in a sales and distribution environment.
• Strong knowledge of VAT, tax compliance and statutory reporting.
• Proven ability to manage cash, treasury and inventory accounting.
