Senior Associate – Deal Advisory (Valuation & Transaction Services)

About the role

Senior Associate – Deal Advisory (Valuation & Transaction Services) will work as a dedicated analyst for an advisory firm, based at Hexamatics Nepal centre in Kathmandu. The role involves detailed financial analysis, valuation, and forensic accounting tasks supporting transaction services.

Key responsibilities

• Perform valuation work including financial normalisation, comparable company and precedent transaction analysis, WACC build‑up and DCF model construction.
• Conduct due‑diligence activities such as trial‑balance to databook mapping, quality of earnings adjustments, net debt and working‑capital analysis, and data‑room indexing.
• Execute forensic tasks including transaction‑level ledger reconstruction, bank‑to‑general‑ledger tracing, fund‑flow mapping and preparation of evidence schedules for arbitration or court bundles.
• Translate technical findings into clear, client‑ready written output and flag inconsistencies within client templates and methodology.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience at a Top 10 international accounting network firm.
• Demonstrable experience in business valuation, due diligence, forensic accounting or M&A.
• CFA Level 1 passed or proof of enrolment at the time of signing the offer.
• Excellent written and spoken English and strong Excel modelling skills.
