Senior Communications Associate

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Communications Associate to turn Doko Recyclers’ environmental impact into compelling stories, strengthen the brand and engage audiences across Nepal.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement Doko’s annual communications strategy, translating it into monthly and quarterly plans aligned with organisational goals.
• Identify and craft stories that showcase the company’s impact, publishing them through newsletters, blogs, press releases and reports.
• Maintain and update the website, ensuring project pages, impact metrics and content are current.
• Lead social‑media activity on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X and YouTube, with a focus on building a strong LinkedIn presence.
• Guard the brand guidelines, create templates and ensure consistent visual and verbal identity across all materials.
• Plan, brand and coordinate events such as World Environment Day, project launches, CSR activations and press conferences, and produce post‑event reports.
• Design and run communication campaigns across e‑waste, plastic recycling, municipal partnerships and circular‑economy initiatives.
• Support business‑development efforts by preparing brochures, case studies, client presentations and other partnership materials.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in communications, marketing or public relations.
• Strong storytelling ability and a passion for environmental sustainability.
• Proven experience managing digital content, newsletters and social‑media channels.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic communication plans.
