Senior Content Writer

About the role

The Senior Content Writer will craft compelling stories that showcase Nepal’s trekking routes, cultural experiences, and tour offerings across our website, blog, social media, and marketing materials. Working on‑site in Kathmandu, you will collaborate closely with marketing and operations teams to ensure content aligns with business goals and reflects the spirit of the Himalayas.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, write, and edit web pages, blog posts, social media updates, and promotional copy.
• Research destinations, local cultures, and traveler experiences to produce accurate, engaging narratives.
• Develop and maintain content calendars and strategy aligned with marketing objectives.
• Ensure consistency, accuracy, and brand voice across all content assets.
• Guide content standards and mentor junior writers as needed.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support campaign launches and product updates.

Required profile

• Proven ability to create clear, audience‑focused web content.
• Experience in content strategy and planning.
• Strong research skills, especially in travel, culture, and destination topics.
• Advanced proofreading with attention to grammar, style, and consistency.
• Previous experience in travel, tourism, or hospitality content is a plus.
• Excellent written English; additional local language skills are advantageous.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate on‑site in Kathmandu.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
