Senior Frontend Engineer

About the role

CloudFactory is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to lead the quality assurance of its cutting‑edge Generative AI web applications. You will design and maintain automation frameworks, collaborate with product, engineering and data science teams, and ensure reliable, secure user experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain a scalable test automation framework using Playwright or Cypress for UI, API (REST) and complex end‑to‑end user flows.
• Develop innovative test strategies for AI features, covering response accuracy, bias detection, prompt‑injection vulnerabilities and handling of non‑deterministic outputs.
• Analyze quality processes, conduct risk assessments and embed preventative measures early in the development cycle.
• Create performance monitoring methods focusing on AI model response times and production stability.
• Mentor and lead team members, fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement.

Required profile

• Deep knowledge of API testing principles and tools such as Postman.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, Agile/Scrum practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with version control using Git.
• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript development.
• Familiarity with Generative AI or Machine Learning concepts is a plus.
