Senior Lawyer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Lawyer to lead and manage all legal matters for Kintsuwabi. The role involves providing strategic legal advice, handling litigation, and ensuring regulatory compliance across corporate, labour, civil, criminal, and commercial domains.

Key responsibilities

• Handle defamation, reputation damage, misleading information, fraud investigations and related matters.
• Manage property and land disputes, including ownership, tenancy, inheritance, contractual issues and partition cases.
• Oversee labour disputes, wrongful termination, employment compliance and represent the company in Labour Court cases.
• Represent the company before District Courts, High Courts, tribunals, government authorities and regulatory bodies.
• Conduct investigations, collect evidence, coordinate witnesses, develop litigation strategies and maintain comprehensive case documentation.
• Draft and review contracts, employment agreements, legal notices, petitions, pleadings, affidavits and settlement agreements.
• Perform legal research and provide practical opinions based on applicable laws and precedents.
• Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes through mediation or alternative dispute‑resolution methods.
• Advise management on legal risks, compliance requirements and legislative changes.
• Coordinate with external counsel, law firms, courts and law‑enforcement agencies while maintaining strict confidentiality and professional ethics.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in corporate, labour, civil, criminal and commercial law.
• Qualified lawyer with a valid license to practice law in Nepal.
• Proven ability to manage complex litigation and represent organisations before courts and regulatory bodies.
• Strong analytical and research skills with a focus on delivering practical legal solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality and professional ethics.
