Senior Livelihood Coordinator

About the role

The Senior Livelihood Coordinator leads the livelihood recovery portfolio of the RISE Rapid Activation project in Rasuwa District, providing technical and managerial oversight to restore and diversify household incomes, enterprises and market systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, implementation, monitoring and completion of all early recovery activities, ensuring alignment with Sphere Standards and World Vision guidelines.
• Conduct and oversee livelihood loss, damage, market and employment assessments in collaboration with local government and private sector partners.
• Provide technical back‑stopping to project staff, partners and NGOs, and ensure effective resource and budget management.
• Coordinate with government, private sector, financial institutions and community groups to promote sustainable, market‑oriented recovery outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in livelihood or economic recovery programming, preferably in humanitarian contexts.
• Strong ability to manage multi‑stakeholder relationships and lead cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent analytical and adaptive‑management skills to identify risks and develop mitigation measures.
