Senior Ticketing Officer

About the role

The Senior Ticketing Officer will lead day-to-day airline reservation and ticketing activities for OntaTrip’s Kathmandu office. You will support both individual travelers and B2B partners, ensuring smooth booking processes and high-quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily airline reservations, ticket issuance, reissues, refunds, voids and cancellations.
• Provide booking assistance and travel-related advice to clients and B2B partners.
• Monitor fare changes, airline policies and ticketing conditions to keep the team updated.
• Coordinate with airlines, GDS providers and internal departments to resolve complex booking issues.
• Maintain accurate PNRs, ticketing records and produce daily sales reports.
• Support the sales team in achieving targets and service standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in airline ticketing or travel-agency operations.
• Hands-on experience with Amadeus, Sabre and Galileo GDS platforms.
• Strong knowledge of domestic and international airfares, fare rules and ticketing procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to handle customer inquiries professionally.
• Target-oriented mindset with proven sales ability.
• Detail-oriented, able to work under pressure both independently and within a team.
