Shopify Developer (On‑site)

About the role

Sirius XD is looking for a skilled Shopify Developer to join its Kathmandu office. You will be responsible for building, maintaining and optimizing Shopify stores for agency partners and their clients, delivering high‑performing eCommerce experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop custom Shopify themes and templates using Liquid.
• Integrate third‑party apps, payment gateways and marketing tools via Shopify APIs.
• Implement new features, troubleshoot technical issues and improve site performance.
• Write clean, maintainable code and ensure cross‑browser compatibility.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers and analytics specialists to translate UX and business requirements into robust solutions.
• Continuously test, refine and enhance storefronts to support scalable growth.

Required profile

• Strong Shopify development experience, including custom theme creation and API usage.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and responsive design practices.
• Experience integrating third‑party applications, payment gateways and marketing tools.
• Solid understanding of eCommerce best practices, performance optimisation and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with analytics and tracking implementation (e.g., Google Analytics, tag managers, conversion tracking) is a plus.
• Experience working in an agency or multi‑client environment and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent practical experience preferred.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail and commitment to inclusive user experiences.
