Site Coordinator – Assistant Site Manager for Solar Power Project

About the role

The Site Coordinator will support the implementation of a 50 MW solar power project in Nepal. Reporting to the project team, the role focuses on land‑lease management, community engagement, and liaison with local authorities to ensure smooth project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate land‑lease agreements, documentation, payments, renewals and related matters with landowners.
• Maintain regular communication with local communities, resolve coordination issues, and organize meetings with stakeholders.
• Liaise with ward offices, district offices and other government bodies to obtain approvals, recommendations and official letters.
• Support the project team in securing local support and coordination approvals.
• Represent project information to local stakeholders when required.
• Maintain records of landowner coordination, meetings, correspondence and pending issues.
• Identify potential local issues affecting implementation and report them promptly to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Social Science, Rural Development, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in local‑level coordination, stakeholder engagement, community relations or project coordination.
• Experience in infrastructure, energy, solar or development projects is preferred.

Required skills

• Land‑lease coordination and documentation.
• Coordination with government offices and local authorities.
• Preparation and follow‑up of official letters, meeting records and coordination documents.
• Good command of Nepali language and working knowledge of English.
