About the role

The Sort Operator works in a warehouse environment, organizing parcels and products for efficient dispatch. The role involves scanning, labeling, and handling items while maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

Key responsibilities

  • Sort parcels and products according to location, category, or delivery route.
  • Scan parcels and update the required system records.
  • Check parcel labels, quantity, and condition.
  • Arrange parcels properly for dispatch and handle them carefully to avoid damage or loss.
  • Load and unload parcels when required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the sorting area.
  • Follow safety rules and company procedures.
  • Report damaged, missing, or incorrectly labelled parcels to the supervisor.
  • Complete assigned work within the given time.

Required profile

  • Minimum SEE/+2 completed; freshers can apply.
  • Warehouse or logistics experience is an advantage.
  • Basic smartphone/scanner knowledge.
  • Physically fit and able to handle parcels.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Punctual, responsible, and hardworking.
