Sous Chef / Chef de Partie (Resort Hotel)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sous Chef / Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team of a resort hotel in Sauraha, Chitwan. The successful candidate will support the Head Chef in delivering high‑quality meals to guests while maintaining kitchen standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing daily menus.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of junior kitchen staff during service.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, and quality standards are consistently met.
• Manage inventory, stock rotation, and assist with ordering supplies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Required profile

• Completed secondary education (+2) or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Chef de Partie or similar role.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented kitchen environment.
• Strong commitment to guest satisfaction and culinary excellence.

Required skills

• Basic culinary techniques and food preparation.
• Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety regulations.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency.
