Supply Chain Trainee (One-year Traineeship)

About the role

World Vision International Nepal offers a one‑year Supply Chain Traineeship designed for fresh Nepali graduates. The programme provides hands‑on experience in procurement, inventory, and logistics while supporting the organisation’s mission to improve vulnerable children’s lives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage purchasing requisitions, source suppliers, and process payments/invoicing.
• Support procurement of office supplies, utilities and other categories, including market assessments and direct purchases.
• Assist in pre‑bidding activities, maintain bid registers and documentation.
• Handle low‑value, low‑risk sourcing events under senior buyers.
• Oversee office supplies and inventory, support warehouse operations, and track assets.
• Maintain procurement records, vendor data, and compliance with audit standards.
• Provide administrative support for meetings, minutes, and fleet logistics (vehicle requests, fuel monitoring, maintenance, insurance).

Required profile

• Recent graduate from a Nepali university.
• Strong interest in procurement, supply chain, and logistics within a humanitarian context.
• Commitment to World Vision’s core values and ability to work collaboratively.
