System Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a proactive System Administrator to join our IT team at Gautam Buddha International Airport. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our Windows and Linux server environments and supporting the broader network infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and file servers.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN, routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Perform routine system updates, security patches, and preventive maintenance.
• Implement and monitor data backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Ensure system security through antivirus, firewall, endpoint protection, and access controls.
• Provide technical support to end users and internal teams.
• Maintain IT asset inventory, software licenses, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs, software procurement, and warranty support.
• Recommend infrastructure improvements to enhance performance, reliability, and security.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
